Stuttgart Wilhelma — 9,000 Animals Of 1,000 Different Kinds
This one is amazing. The Stuttgart Wilhelma is one of the most beautiful botanic and zoological gardens in Europe.
I was built from 1842 to 1853 for king William I. von Württemberg as an Mauri garden.
Approximately 9,000 animals of nearly 1,000 different kinds, exemplary plants and greenhouses, large Magnolienhain, aquarium with crocodile hall and famous coral fish collection, modern anthropoid house, bear zone, accessible bird free flight area, farm with stroking pen.
With approx. 1.8 million visitors per year, it is one of the usually-visited sights in the state Baden-Württemberg.
The Wilhelma zoo is located in Bad Cannstatt. This is a cure town and worth a visit as well!
The Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion is our next tour stop...
