It is one of the most beautiful market halls of Germany.

Built by Fresken von Gref und Haebich in art nouveau, from 1912 to 1914, in place of the old vegetable resounds as a food stock exchange and department store.

You will find daily flowers, fish, meat, vegetable and fruit as well as exotic fruits and spice blows. A small restaurant and gallery is in the first floor with view of multicolored hustle and bustle.

The market hall contains 44 different stalls. That is little, compared with the 430 stalls from the start time of 1912. But the crowding from the starting time in the close roads between the stalls still remains the same.

Since 1989, there is a Gourmet restaurant, which became a trueful culinary meeting place on the loft. The speciality temple is also a department store of special kind with an enticing offer at living and garden culture and further attractive business.

Take an aimless walk through the halls — just to smell, to look, and to taste. That is then nearly like a short vacation in the south!

We'll now go uuuuup to the TV Tower. smile
