English Garden Munich — Paradise Within The City
Munich's famous 900-acre park, the English Garden, was planned in 1789, in the year of the french revolution, by Count Rumford (and exiled American).
He thought that people in Munich needed to be given a generous space they could enjoy while living in poverty.
Even Napoleon was there! His whole regiment camped out in 1806 and remembered that spot long time after.
The English Garden Munich, starting in the heart of the city and transitioning into the countryside, offers shaded paths for walking and cycling in summer and picturesque frozen lakes in winter.
The park contains four beer gardens (Chinesischer Turm, Seehaus, Hirschau, and Aumeister).
Nude sunbathers love the spacious meadows and hundreds different trees and flowers in the park. It's a place where you can let your romantic instincts run free at any hour, day and night.
And you don't have to worry about your life; it's very safe there. No violence conditioned people.
In 1989, the garden celebrated its 200th anniversary.
Now that we've discovered the Munich's second paradise, it's time to check out why the Oktoberfest is a yearly magnet for millions of people...
